Loanstreet is one of the leading finance comparison sites in Malaysia that specialises in housing loans, personal loans, credit cards, and motor insurance. Our goal is to make people’s lives easier when it comes to finance-related stuff. We also want to bridge that financial knowledge gap by making it simple, interesting and FUN (if possible) for the layman.

Your role will be to:

-Understand the product, target audience and competitor activities in the market.
-Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics and generate ideas for new content.
-Present initial ideas to the team lead which will be developed into workable concepts.
-Write/create/produce engaging & informational content (including social media post or marketing copy) that our audience can relate to.
-Schedule and manage articles, as well as social media posts.
-Edit or rewrite existing copy of works as necessary for ongoing projects.
-Perform basic keyword research using SEO tools
-Stay updated with new market trends and techniques as well as what is going on in the industry.
-Assist the content team on operational tasks.
-Other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the managers

-Has a passion for writing, creativity and everything in between.
-Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbally and written.
-Basic understanding of marketing concepts and principles.
-Communicates well in English.
-Able to write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
-Familiarity with social media channels and audiences.
-Be willing to learn and understand basic SEO in writing
-Quick learner who listens and asks good questions.
-Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work. This means you are willing to put in the effort/time required to get the job “done right” – not “done right now.”
-Enough confidence to share your ideas, participate in business conversations and take (or give) constructive criticism.
-Has a positive disposition and ability to play well with others
