Role Overview:

As a Penetration Tester Intern, you will assist the cybersecurity team in identifying vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and applications. You’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals, utilizing industry-standard tools, and learning best practices in ethical hacking and vulnerability assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting penetration tests on web applications, networks, and other systems.
• Participate in identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in company systems.
• Support the preparation of detailed reports documenting findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
• Learn and use various penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit).
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
• Assist in performing security assessments and audits as required.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking, web technologies, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
• Familiarity with security concepts such as OWASP Top 10, SQL Injection, XSS, and privilege escalation.
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ethical mindset and attention to detail.
