What will you be doing?
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of payment applications on specific payment terminal Android devices;

• Handle service requests, system support, troubleshooting, user guides and documentations;

• Develop Android applications and their integration with backend services, combining different payment methods;

• Responsible for system integration testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT);

• Work with other developers in a team on different layers of the payment gateway;

• Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the Android payment devices;

• Independently design and complete the functional development of the core modules of the project, and continue to optimize;

• Work along with the product team to develop new features;

• Maintain project deliverables as per the needs of the product team.

• Monthly salary commensurates with experience, starting from RM 3,000.00++ ~ RM 5,000.00++ per month, with 2-month probation;

What skills should I need?
• Prefer 2-3 years of working experience with Android development;

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK;

• Familiarity with object oriented programming (OOP) concepts and languages especially in Java and Kotlin;

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services;

• Good understanding of Google’s Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices;

• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning;

• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as "touch";

• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications;

• Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as GIT is a must.

Note: Experience doesn't matter if you can prove that you can build what we expect that will do;

What else do I need?
• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or other related fields;

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements;

• Have good project development habits and a good document development process;

• Responsible and a team player, good at communication and problem-solving;

• Eager to learn new stuff both technical and product;

• Willing to work in a fast paced start-up environment.
